APPLICATION AND REFERENCE

line

Sometimes the best way to explore a decision is to just start moving down a path and see where it takes you. If it feels at all like God is tapping you on the shoulder to start down the path of exploring Lifeteams further, we’d love to hear from you. You can contact us through info@lifeteams.ca. If you’d like to start the process of applying, simply complete the online forms, or download the application and references, fill them out and get them back to us. We look forward to the possibility of journeying with you for awhile.

Next Program

The next Lifeteams program begins in September 9th, 2012 and runs until the end of May. Because of the intensive mentorship focus, we select only 8-10 students each year. If you have an interest in finding out more, we’d love to talk. Contact us at info@lifeteams.ca .

How To Apply

To apply for Lifeteams, simply fill out the online application and return it to us.  You will also need to choose three references to fill out the online Reference Form for you.  After we have received your application and the response from your 3 references, expect a call from us to set up an interview to find out more about you, and help determine whether you and Lifeteams are a good fit.

For more information on the next program, call program director, Rob Snair at 604.825.1946 , or contact us for more informations at info@youthunlimited.com .

International Applicants

Info for International Students applying for a Canadian Student Visa:

1. http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/study-apply_demande-etude.aspx -  This webpage gives you a good idea of what needs to be done to apply for a student visa. Check it out, but make sure your particular country doesn’t require any additional documents.

2. To apply for a Visa it’s best to have all the requirements (eg. medical exam, banking info to prove you have funds, character references, etc) with you if you go in person to apply as it will move much more quickly. You will be applying for a student visa.

4. You will also need an actual letter of acceptance from us, not a copy or fax.  We will get that to you A.S.A.P. after you have been through the application process and been accepted into the program.

5.  If you could plan to come a day early it would give you time to recover a bit from jet lag before the others arrive. We would be happy to pick you up at the Vancouver airport (international flights) or the Abbotsford airport (domestic) and provide you with a place to crash for the night. Let us know if you’re needing this service once you have your flights confirmed.
